PR, Social & Content Account Supervisor
The PR, Social & Content Account Supervisor is a writing- and media relations-led role within the agency. The ideal candidate brings more than eight years of full-time experience and is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on writer who excels at developing clear, compelling narratives for complex ideas.
This role is responsible for advancing writing projects from concept to execution, including direct dialogue with clients and conducting in-depth interviews with subject matter experts. The Account Supervisor will translate insights gathered through these conversations into high-quality content that supports media relations, thought leadership and broader marketing communications goals. Attention to detail, editorial judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic PR and content marketing plans, with a strong emphasis on the creation of high-quality written materials.
- Proactively engage in client dialogue to advance writing initiatives, including planning, scoping, interviewing and revising content to meet strategic objectives.
- Conduct confident, thoughtful interviews with senior subject matter experts to extract insights, perspectives and narratives that fuel strong content.
- Translate complex subject matter into clear, compelling and audience-relevant stories that align with client brand voice and business goals.
- Ideate, draft and refine content in a variety of formats—including bylines, media materials, long-form articles, social content and campaign narratives—often in collaboration with art directors and cross-functional partners.
- Apply an understanding of client marketing communications strategies to inform writing priorities, tone and messaging frameworks.
- Stay current on best practices, platforms and tools related to writing, media relations, storytelling and content development so the agency can make informed recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate effectively within the Public Relations, Social Media and Content team, as well as with other agency disciplines, to ensure writing is aligned and elevated across touchpoints.
Job Qualifications
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience, with a demonstrated focus on writing and media relations.
- Writing is a core strength and genuine passion, with the ability to own projects from kick off through final delivery.
- Proven experience writing for complex subject matter, technical topics or nuanced industries.
- Strong interviewing skills and comfort engaging directly with clients and senior subject matter experts.
- Editorial mindset with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to clarity, accuracy and storytelling quality.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt as priorities shift.
- Tenacious problem-solver with the confidence to rethink structure, messaging or approach to deliver the strongest possible work.

Work Environment & Eligibility
Hybrid role based in Madison, WI (in-office Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday). Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
