We seek a talented Marketing Data Analyst to join our marketing analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, with a particular expertise in Tableau. This role will be responsible for analyzing marketing data, developing insights, and creating interactive dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Analyze marketing data from various sources (e.g., digital campaigns, CRM, social media) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Conduct thorough analysis using statistical methods to evaluate marketing performance and ROI.
    • Provide actionable recommendations to improve marketing efforts.
    • Proactively bring business performance insights to cross-functional team outside of regularity scheduled reporting cycles.
    • Proactively bring forward advanced analytics opportunities to drive additional momentum for client’s businesses.
  2. Tableau Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to visualize key marketing metrics and performance indicators.
    • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually appealing, and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
    • Continuously improve and update dashboards based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  3. Data Management and Integration:
    • Work with Data Science Engineer to organize marketing data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Integrate data from various platforms and systems to create a comprehensive view of marketing performance.
    • Implement data governance best practices to maintain high-quality data standards.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with internal and external marketing teams, other data scientists and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
    • Communicate complex data analysis and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and support marketing initiatives.
  5. Performance Reporting:
    • Lead reporting process to create and distribute regular performance reports to track marketing effectiveness and campaign success.
    • Develop custom reports and ad-hoc analyses as needed to support specific marketing initiatives or client requests.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on areas for improvement related to business outcomes.
  6. Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning:
    • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes and customer behaviors.
    • Use machine learning techniques to segment customers, identify target audiences, and optimize marketing campaigns.
    • Continuously evaluate model performance and refine algorithms to enhance predictive accuracy.
  7. Research and Innovation:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, marketing analytics, and data visualization.
    • Propose and explore new methodologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of the marketing analytics team.
    • Experiment with innovative data analysis techniques to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX design principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau, including designing and developing interactive dashboards.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation using Python and SQL.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on-site Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday weekly in an open-office environment
  • Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
