Summary

As a UX Designer at Hiebing, you'll have the opportunity to work across various industries, clients, and platforms, contributing to large-scale projects and owning smaller projects from start to finish. You'll play a pivotal role in connecting strategy, creativity, and technology, leveraging your ability to interpret data, empathize with users, and make well-informed design decisions.

What You’ll Do 

  • Deliver high-fidelity designs that balance user needs and business goals. 
  • Develop sitemaps, user flows, wireframes and prototypes using Figma. 
  • Collaborate across teams and with clients to incorporate research into your designs and to ensure that designs are implemented accurately. 
  • Champion and advocate for usability and accessibility best practices. 
  • Ensure scalability and performance are considered when handing off designs to developers. 
  • Present your work to both internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulating design decisions and using feedback to refine your work. 
  • Assist in mentoring interns and junior designers and participate in cross-departmental training initiatives. 

Requirements 

  • Degree or equivalent certification in UX Design, Information Architecture, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in UX design or product design with a portfolio showcasing your work across a variety of digital platforms (websites, mobile apps, and more). 
  • Proficiency in Figma, including a strong understanding of auto-layout, prototyping, and file organization. 
  • Experience designing for native apps and mobile-first approaches. 
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills  
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance collaboration with developers. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work on-site Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday weekly in an open-office environment
  • Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, product design cycles, and sprint-based workflows. 
  • Experience building and working with design systems. 
  • Experience with website builders (e.g., Shopify, Elementor).
