Summary Description
Hiebing is seeking an Assistant Account Executive for our PR, Social Media and Content department. An integral position within the agency, the AAE will provide ground support in the development and execution of client- and agency-related public relations, social media and content programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support PR, social media and content programs to help clients reach key audiences across channels
- Tell our clients’ stories in a variety of formats including social copy, media pitches, press releases, blog posts and more
- Adapt voice in writing based on target, medium and client brand
- Monitor and develop responses to social media conversations and trends across social media daily
- Develop editorial calendars and manage creative asset development
- Assist in ad trafficking and QA
- Learn the types of publications to pitch and which journalists would be most receptive to a pitch based on their past coverage
- Create targeted lists of client-appropriate media contacts
- Assist in tracking performance, gathering data and identifying insights for measurement reports
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to explore ideas and support execution, while ensuring final work reflects Hiebing's standards for strategic thinking, creativity, and craft
- Ensure integrated teams and/or clients receive timely updates and clear next steps

Qualifications:
- Relevant experience (internship or full-time)
- Bachelor’s degree
Work Environment & Eligibility
Hybrid role based in Madison, WI (in-office Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday). Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
